Immersing into AR/VR, a new way to view, interact and understand information

Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies are achieving mass adoption in numerous sectors including education, manufacturing and gaming. VR creates an environment that immerses the user in a virtual world which suspends belief.  AR is similar but uses holograms which are overlaid on the user’s real environment and enhances or adds to what they can see via data displays or 3D models. This webinar shall look at how these technologies produce a new immersive interaction, paradigms that not only transforms how we consume information but also the speed of how we comprehend that information.

Throughout 2020 the Enterprise Ireland R&D Core Unit are hosting a number of regional roadshow events throughout the country on their  Agile Innovation, Research and Development funding programmes.

The Agile fund is part of Enterprise Ireland’s wider Innovation Offer, which includes funding and supports for collaborative research, increasing the innovation capability of companies and funding for large R&D projects.

There will be an opportunity to meet the In Company R&D Supports team after each event to discuss your specific innovation project.
