Catherine Collins, Network Manager with First Polymer Training will give an overview of the network, Polymer Technology Ireland (Ibec) and how it supports the industry through subsidised training and third level polymer programmes but also through technical events and networking opportunities. She will also outline their new Sustainability Strategy Framework, developed for the polymer sector; a free programme to allow companies to develop their own Sustainability champions and actions plans.

Stephen O’Leary, Training Consultant with First Polymer Training, will discuss his proven approach to highly effective polymer processing training, primarily in injection moulding but also materials and design programmes offered by the network.

Alan Harrington, Technical Training Specialist with First Polymer Training, will discuss the latest developments in maintenance programmes, many tailored for the polymer sector and the latest training aids and facilities at their newly expanded technical training centre in Athlone.
